Derry CoderDojo is a local club which runs free coding sessions for young children aged 8 and above, supported by The CoderDojo Foundation. Our aim is to make STEM accessible to all and use coding as the basis to foster logical thinking from a young age. Last year, our topics covered included programming with BBC Micro:Bits and taking part in Google’s Internet Safety course, Be Internet Awesome. This year we hope to continue our work with Micro:Bits.

Our sessions take place every second Saturday during university term time. Tickets are released approx. 5 days before each session.

Each session is restricted to 30 kids so we recommend booking your place as soon as they are released. Unfortunately once the kids’ tickets have sold out we can’t allow anyone else to attend.

If you would like to register for a session, please use the Eventbrite calendar to the right of this page* or using the following link: currently released Eventbrite tickets. Please note that tickets will be released approx. one week before each session takes place.
